The qualified candidate will support the Zinc Marketing department’s operations teams in an array of different tasks conducive to the successful performance of the trade lifecycle, while gaining exposure to different internal and external stakeholders and areas within the organization.

We are looking for a candidate who

  • has recently completed undergraduate education (BSc) in Engineering, Economics, Business, or similar
  • has a strong interest in the commodity business
  • has an open, flexible and team-oriented personality with an interdisciplinary thinking and solution-oriented working attitude
  • has a good know-how in using IT applications; MS office proficiency is a must
  • prior experience in international commerce, logistics, or supply chain is a plus
  • is fluent in English; a good understanding of any other language is an asset
  • has current Swiss B/C permit or is Swiss/EU passport holder

Against a restated 2019 baseline, we are targeting to reduce our Scope 1, 2 and 3 industrial emissions by 15% by the end of 2026, 25% by the end of 2030, 50% by the end of 2035 and we have an ambition to achieve net zero industrial emissions by the end of 2050, subject to a supportive policy environment.
