MSAT Product & Process Engineer

We are looking for a curiosity-driven individual who excels at communication and collaboration, focusing on aligning various interfaces, from engineering teams to the shop floor. The ideal candidate will have experience working with electrochemical sensors or chemistry and a background in data science (programming, statistics, etc.), either from previous roles or through student projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the sensor production process (e.g., screen printing, dispensing, chemistry lab work, and materials handling).
- Perform scientific root cause analysis and problem-solving to support production operations.
- Assist in establishing new production lines and refining processes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- University degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Experience working in a highly regulated production environment.
- First-hand experience with GxP (od Practice) standards.
- Strong interest and experience in agile methodologies or project management techniques, particularly in delivering on targets.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while being a flexible team player.
- Ability to self-reflect and continuously optimize both personal performance and the organization's impact within a matrix environment.
- Demonstrated accountability and ability to shape working models in alignment with interfaces across the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve conflicting perspectives by fostering an open and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent technical expertise with a servant leadership style, inspiring others through both strategic and hands-on contributions.
- Experience with budget and timeline ownership.
- Expertise in statistical analysis and data science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R-Studio.
- Fluent in English (B2 level minimum), with German proficiency at B2 level preferred.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with database handling (e.g., SQL, Sflake) and software project management.
- Green Belt certification in Six Sigma methodology.
- Kledge of Lean methods.
- Professional experience in a highly regulated industry, ideally in the pharmaceutical or medical sector.
