For one of our clients, a world leader in in-vitro diagnostics, we are currently looking for a Junior Laboratory Technician.

About the job:

The Instrumental Analytics department is a pivotal part of Reagent Research and Design. They specialize in the development, validation, and implementation of a wide spectrum of state-of-the-art analytical methods. From Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry to digital PCR and FTIR microscopy, their lab is a hub of diverse technologies.

We are seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician who thrives in a dynamic, multi-technological environment. In this role, you will not be limited to a single instrument; instead, you will have the opportunity to operate and master various high-end analytical tools.


Your Profile:

  • Completed training as a Lab Technician (with a maximum of a Bachelor’s degree).
  • 1–2 years of experience in a laboratory environment, including confident handling of biological samples.
  • Strong interest in practical lab work, think multidirectionally, communicate fluently in English, and excel as a team player.
  • GxP knowledge and German language skills are considered strong pluses.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Plan analysis with support from supervisory staff
  • Prepare standards and samples
  • Perform experiments on different instruments
  • Data analysis with support from supervisory staff
  • Document experiments
  • Escalate issues when things are not going according to plan
  • Recommend next steps based on data generated
  • Drive efforts to gain efficiency within work packages
  • Organize and manage their own time within scope of assigned work packages
  • Ordering and maintaining stocks of material


Must Haves:

  • Completed Education as Lab Technician (Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology) (Highest education Bachelor)
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a Lab Environment
  • Experience with biological samples handling
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong interest for practical lab work
  • Able to think not only one directional but multidirectional
  • Teamplayer


Nice to Have:

  • GxP Knowledge
  • German is a Plus
