As an Infrastructure Engineer in the Infrastructure Platform International Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering infrastructure and performance excellence. You will help shape the future of our technology landscape while working in a highly regulated environment. You’ll collaborate with us to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge, making a difference for our clients and communities. Job responsibilities

  • Engineer and implement network infrastructure solutions
  • Manage and configure firewall platforms such as Fortinet and Checkpoint
  • Operate and support Cisco (Nexus, ASR) and Arista network devices
  • Administer and optimize Load Balancers (F5)
  • Develop and maintain scripts for device provisioning and automation of daily tasks
  • Adhere to engineering standards and certified product artifacts
  • Create and update implementation and operational documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues using monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and act as an escalation point for Network Operations and Service Delivery teams
  • Coordinate and collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders across teams
  • Drive cross-team initiatives and foster a collaborative environment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of firewall and network security design, engineering, and implementation experience within a large enterprise environment
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching
  • Proficiency in software development with Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON
  • Understanding of micro-services and APIs
  • Experience with network security technologies such as proxy
  • CCNA or CCNP certification is an advantage
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Organized and able to follow JPMorganChase processes to minimize risk
  • Clear written and oral communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong work ethic with a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate across different roles and teams
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large enterprise environment
  • English proficiency required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in highly regulated environments
  • Experience with French language is an advantage
  • Advanced scripting and automation skills
  • Experience with additional network security technologies
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements
  • Exposure to global teams and multicultural environments
  • Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced settings
