About the job:
We are seeking a skilled contractor to lead the technology deployment of Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) equipment, with a focus on the current equipment phase (design/built). The contractor will ensure the implementation aligns with strategic goals and operational objectives.
The Perfect Candidate:
Possesses over 5 years of relevant professional experience, proficiency in general visual inspection standards and requirements, and expertise in Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) equipment and vision system technologies. They also have proven experience in the deployment of AVI equipment and fluency in English.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Provide expertise in AVI systems, including equipment performance, vision technologies, and optimization.
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to design and customize AVI equipment, including machine qualifications, software configuration, and vision system optimization
- Oversee the equipment build phase, including mechanical and software integration as well as factory acceptance testing (FAT).
Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate technical projects, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address progress and resolve build-phase challenges.
Problem-Solving & Standardization:
- Translate technical concepts into business solutions to meet project objectives.
- Develop standardized processes and robust documentation in GMP-regulated environments.
Must Haves:
- Higher education in engineering or similar education
- Min. 5-10 years relevant work experience
- Proficiency in general visual inspection requirements
- Expertise in AVI equipment and vision system technologies
- Proven experience in AVI equipment deployment
- Strong leadership and project management skills, including robust documentation abilities
- Knowledge of GMP and regulated environments
- Exceptional communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English
