Requirements:- - You have higher technical education (HF, FH) in computer science, business informatics, or similar education
- You are experienced in test automation of browser applications and web APIs using Selenium, Cucumber, Maven
- You are familiar with Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Gitlab and Docker
- You bring experience in software development tools like Jira, Confluence, and test management tools like Xray
- You are well versed in Mobile Application Testing (nice to have)
- You are fluent in English (verbal and written)

Responsibilities:- SwissSign is building up its future Certificate Authority (CA) infrastructure from scratch. As a Test Automation Engineer in the CA team, you design, develop and maintain automated test cases and reports for our new CA ecosystem, guarantee high test coverage and apply the best quality assurance practices in the software development lifecycle. Automated testing is a crucial pillar of our quality assurance.

An overview of your tasks:
- Define and implement the test automation strategy, including contributing to the development of the test automation environment
- Plan, design, and implement automated tests for system & integration, E2E, performance, and regression and perform testing activities from specification to final implementation
- Verify functional and non-functional requirements
- Generate and share timely test reports and test evidence for internal and certification purposes
- Coach other team members in quality assurance, automation test strategy, and methods
- Participate actively in an agile and cross-functional scrum team
