We are seeking a Regional Security Coordinator for a newly created role. This role is based out of Geneva and reporting to the CFO Central Europe with a functional reporting to the Head of Security and Safety Europe, Middle-East and Africa. You will closely partner with leadership teams throughout the organization to ensure a safe, secure, and efficient working environment. You will oversee the preparation for and response to security situations for Central Europe. MAIN TASKS- Manages, and coordinates, security programs within the region to address a variety of issues including, physical security, investigations, regulatory compliance, Loss Prevention, and ensuring that programs meet appropriate regulatory requirements.- Takes the response lead role in incidents, emergencies, and crisis affecting the region.- Conducts and ensures performance of security risk and threat assessments and prepares reports for countries and stores in the region.- Develops physical security designs for stores, including launches, retrofit and expansion. - Develops and manages all security-related training programs for the region.- Solicits, reviews, and approves country-level Security Management Plans and Emergency Action Plans for countries within the region on an annual and as needed basis.- Supports and mentors the country-level Security points of contact to direct the approach, deployment and execution of security programs, to limit exposure to liability in an effort to reduce financial loss.- Monitors intelligence sources and disseminates security alerts and warnings to country and project leadership, security management teams, and to travelers.- Manages contracted security professionals and vendors performance.- Develops and establishes regional security policies and procedures if required.- Complies with all applicable local legislations, standards from regulatory and accrediting agencies within the region.- Maintains good working relations with law enforcement agencies including governmental and international agencies within the region.- Interacts with local government agencies, embassies, foreign agencies to implement regional security strategies and procedures.- Initiates and facilitates changes to improve regional security services through effective communication, training, collaboration and interdisciplinary problem solving.- Contribute to reduce business losses on security incidents and related claims by identifying and understanding vulnerabilities, MO’s, and implementation the appropriate means and measures to protect transported assets in the last mile environment. Direct involvement in complex investigations at a high level. Implement strategies and programs which prevent theft, diversion and losses from the supply chain in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
