Product, merchandising and commercial aspects
- Ensure that collections are received, presented and renewed in the best possible way.
- Optimise shelf space based on commercial performance and product priorities.
- Serve as a product reference for the team: train, lead product focus groups and share sales arguments.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (turnover, UPT, conversion rate, etc.) and take the necessary corrective measures.
- Identify best-sellers, slow-moving items and out-of-stock items, and propose concrete measures.
- Actively contribute to the achievement of the department's sales targets.
- Apply the brand's visual guidelines and adapt them to the in-store sales situation.
- Work with the visual merchandiser to ensure a high-quality, consistent and inspiring product presentation.
- Impeccable appearance: cleanliness, order, product availability and daily merchandising.
Customer service and customer experience
- Develop a culture of excellent, high-quality and personalised service.
- Train the team to adopt a customer-oriented attitude, in line with Massimo Dutti's DNA.
- Professionally manage complicated situations: returns, complaints, special requests.
- Ensure that customers are satisfied and loyal while strengthening the brand image.
Management, human resources and organisation
- Plan work schedules, manage absences and adapt resources to the needs of the business.
- Manage the integration of new employees and ensure that they develop their skills.
- Lead daily meetings and provide regular individual follow-ups with the team.
- Identify internal talent and support their development.
- Monitor hourly budgets and productivity rates and make necessary adjustments.
- Participate in weekly reports and ensure that internal processes are properly implemented.
- Report irregularities to the branch manager and suggest ideas for continuous improvement.
Required skills
- Leadership qualities and ability to set an example in the field.
- Product knowledge, customer service skills and sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills, active listening and ability to assert oneself.
- Ability to train, motivate and structure a team.
- Analytical mind, good knowledge of key performance indicators and management tools.
- Rigorous, organised, able to deal with the unexpected.
- Good command of French required; command of English and/or Spanish is a plus.
