Job description
As Assistant Manager, you will support and assist the Director in achieving a store that meets company standards. You supervise your department and coordinate staff members.
As Assistant Manager, these will be your main responsibilities:
- You ensure that the objective is achieved and that procedures are followed with regard to: safety, cash desk management, administration management, health and safety.
- You monitor and respect the allocated time budgets.
- Create ideal schedules and ensure that the right people are in the right place at the right time.
- You follow the following procedures:
- Payroll and System Payroll Department (TGT)
- HR: sickness and long periods of absenteeism
- Recruitment: You anticipate, plan with low-cost initiatives
- You communicate clearly and effectively with head office, HR managers and/or sales managers and the store in general regarding relevant follow-ups.
- You ensure a pleasant working climate and effectively manage conflicts in compliance with company standards.
- You manage the follow-up of your sales staff (Potential Program)
- Evaluate the work of your team and coach them where necessary
- You monitor after-sales service and make sure your team does too
- You ensure that deliveries and restocking are carried out on time and efficiently.
- Ensure that the store is up to date with best-sellers and current trends
- You solve problems with customers and strive for customer satisfaction
