Software Engineer Image Processing (f/m/d)

Salary 90’000 - 110’000 CHF per year
Requirements:- Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent with a focus on image processing
Minimum of 5-7 years of working experience, preferably in a high tech industry
In-depth kledge in state of the art signal and image processing algorithms and image processing libraries (e.g., Halcon, OpenCV)
Strong programming skills in modern C++ including design patterns, clean code and software architecture
Software and firmware testing methodologies, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, testing scripts and tools
Creativity, flexibility and high commitment
Excellent communication, methodical approach, customer- and result-oriented way of working
Fluent in English

Responsibilities:- Participation in innovation projects for the expansion of the image processing based solution in the HEXAGON Group
Expansion and maintenance of the image processing platform (lighting, software, cameras)
Definition of requirements and acceptance criteria, execution and evaluation of testing
Analysis of customer applications and use cases and mapping of them in innovative solutions
Ensuring the product quality by writing software on high standards based on clean code principles and using automated tests
Track technology trends and competing products

As an Image Processing engineer you are involved in the innovative expansion of the vision solutions on multisensory CMMs. You participate in all the stages of the development process, including research, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment. You identify and solve problems in a systematic manner and cooperate with other experts (internal/external).
