About this role

Salary: CHF 85’000 - 105’000 per year

Requirements:

Higher education (engineering school or university) in a relevant field or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere) in a production environment
High level of intervention experience in high-volume and critical environments
Experience in major upgrades in production and maintenance management
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Good knowledge of tools (monitoring/observability, logging, management)
Resident in Switzerland or willingness to relocate

Responsibilities:

Ensure the stability and high-volume VMware infrastructure
Maintain VMware infrastructure by handling complex hypervisor and hardware incidents (ESXi, firmware, disks, HBA, Pure storage)
Guarantee stability and consistency of multi-vCenter environments in banking production
Participate in projects: upgrade to vSphere 9
Industrialize storage via scripting (Python, PowerShell)
