UX/UI Process Consultant - User Journeys - Remote for Geneva
About this role
eCommerce UI/UX Process Consultant
Do you have a sharp eye for customer journey friction points tied to underlying technical processes? Are you an expert in translating UI/UX issues back to data, integration, and process gaps in complex eCommerce systems?
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Process Consultant to join our client’s critical remediation project in Geneva. This is an immediate-start, high-impact opportunity (November) to review and optimize the customer experience by focusing on the underlying technical processes and data flows that support it.
Working in a team with Architects, Integration Specialists and Data Experts, you responsibilities will be:
Customer Journey Mapping: Systematically review and map existing customer journeys (e.g., browsing, checkout, order tracking) to identify points of friction, drop-off, and frustration caused by poor data or process design.
Process Gap Analysis: Relate customer experience issues directly back to failures or gaps in technical processes and data synchronization across the integrated landscape (eCommerce, SAP, Salesforce, Mulesoft).
Process-Centric Recommendations: Provide actionable, documented recommendations for process redesign and UI/UX improvements that align with the technical capabilities being fixed by the Architects and Specialists.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Solutions Architect and Master Data Management Specialists to ensure process solutions are viable, integrated, and address the root causes of data and design flaws.
Experience-Driven Success: Define and track metrics related to the revised customer experience and process efficiency.
Your background
We need a process-oriented UX professional who understands the technology and integration challenges of enterprise eCommerce.
Must-Have Expertise:
Proven experience as a UX/CX Consultant or Process Analyst focused on large-scale eCommerce systems.
Strong track record of customer journey mapping and process analysis tied to data and system flows.
Ability to think systemically and understand how UX issues are often symptoms of failures in ERP (SAP) or CRM (Salesforce) data processes integrated via a platform like Mulesoft.
Experience in documenting technical process flows and writing clear requirements for technical teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex process flaws to technical and business stakeholders.
This is a remote position and expectations are that you will be within a maximum of +/-2 hours of Geneva time.
