About this role
Salary: CHF 80’000 - 110’000 per year
Requirements:- Experience in the server infrastructure field in general.
- Proven experience in a center of comparable size.
- Specific knowledge of LAN/WAN/FC/FCoE to facilitate communication with specialists.
- Knowledge in development (scripting, dynamic) with a collaborative mindset and openness to change.
- Strong adaptability to understanding the overall public environment.
- Enthusiasm and autonomy in specific areas of Cisco UCS infrastructure and VMware and its tools.
- A diploma or title deemed equivalent, as well as an ITIL certification.
- Technical on-call duty (standby) for incident resolution.
- Residence in Switzerland and a police clearance are required.
- Contribute to internal and outsourced infrastructures of the Technological Services Products Domain in Vaud.
- Support, advise, and implement server infrastructures and define, ensure coherence, and align technical processes for monitoring, secure copying, and deployment between storage units and other centers of the Domain.
- Participate in the support of infrastructures within the Domain.
- Provide necessary control and support for assistance and technical support to ensure that systems are monitored according to the standards and regulations applied at DGNSI, along with the monitoring team of the infrastructures.
- Lead technological watch over the responsibilities, ensuring alignment with evolving needs and proposing improvements.
- Collaborate with teams from other technical domains on cross-cutting projects.
