Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience with ReactJS and/or React Native
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and a solid understanding of modern frontend development practices
• Familiarity with state management, REST/GraphQL APIs, and testing frameworks
• Experience with Git-based workflows (GitLab or similar) and CI/CD pipelines
• A good eye for UI/UX details and the ability to collaborate with designers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
• Fluency in both Italian and English is required
• Nice to have:
– Experience with backend technologies (Java, Kotlin, Node.js, etc.)
– Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
– Contributions to OSS or a strong personal project portfolio

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web and mobile applications using ReactJS and React Native
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with attention to performance and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape technical decisions
• Support junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Collaborate directly with clients and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions

About the role:
WellD is looking for a Senior ReactJS / React Native Developer for their development team in Lugano. The role requires at least 2 years of professional experience with ReactJS and/or React Native, and a strong interest in building high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Where you’ll work:
Based in Southern Switzerland at the Lugano office with a hybrid setup (4 days in the office and 1 day remotely). Note that the remote policy may change in accordance with Swiss and cross-border regulations.

Compensation range:
Agno (Lugano): CHF70,000 - CHF80,000 gross annually*
