Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Salary: CHF 95’000 - 125’000 per year

Requirements:

• Senior Data Scientist with expertise in marketing science, machine learning, and AI algorithm design.
• Proven track record in the digital marketing landscape, preferably within a D2C/E-commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of prediction models, classifiers, user behavior, and website performance.
• Proficient in batch and streaming ML & AI applications, with the ability to design and execute machine learning pipelines.
• Familiar with ML Operations principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms (e.g., Vertex AI).
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in Digital Marketing and Customer Experience to design data flows and AI strategies.
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and solve marketing problems leveraging expertise in data and AI.
• Lead research into the state-of-the-art for marketing science.
• Design and implement machine learning and AI pipelines to optimize marketing decision-making in collaboration with marketing teams.
• Develop and refine models such as Customer Lifetime Value, product recommendations, and churn prediction, incorporating advanced ML techniques and the latest GenAI technologies.
• Monitor algorithm performance by designing QA metrics and processes, and validating measurable impact through experimentation.
• Effectively communicate the impact and efficacy of marketing ML and AI applications to all levels of the organization.
