About this role
Salary: CHF 120’000 - 150’000 per year
Requirements:- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline
- Excellent programming skills in C++ within Linux or Unix-like environments, with a strong emphasis on writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
- Deep understanding of low-level network and system programming, with hands-on experience in developing ultra-low-latency systems
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, memory and concurrency models, CPU architecture, operating systems, and performance optimization
- Experience or strong interest in statistics, large-scale data processing, machine learning, or grid-based computing is a plus
- No prior finance or trading background is required; a passion for technical excellence and impactful software engineering is the key driver
- Collaborate in the development of a highly competitive, ultra-low-latency trading platform, including market data delivery and order submission subsystems
- Design and implement state-of-the-art trade execution and connectivity solutions that set industry standards
- Contribute to the team responsible for all automated trading algorithms, ensuring your expertise and ideas drive production outcomes
- Optimize system performance by improving network access, hardware utilization, and code execution efficiency
- Stay current with updates to exchange protocols and ensure the platform incorporates latest standards
