Oracle Fusion Test Lead / Manager – Randstad Digital Switzerland

Are you a QA leader with a deep footprint in the Oracle Cloud ecosystem? At Randstad Digital Switzerland, we are looking for a high-caliber Test Lead/Manager to spearhead the quality assurance and testing strategy for a large-scale Oracle Fusion transformation (HCM, Payroll, Financials, and SCM).

In this role, you will be the guardian of quality, ensuring that complex business processes—from multi-country payroll to financial close cycles—function flawlessly across every release and patch.

The Role

You will lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle, managing both internal resources and external implementation partners to deliver a robust, well-architected ERP environment.

Key Strategic Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Planning: Define and drive the comprehensive test strategy for Oracle Fusion, covering SIT, UAT, Payroll Parallel Runs, and Financial Close testing.

• Release Management: Own the Oracle Quarterly Patch assessment process, evaluating functional impacts and coordinating targeted regression to ensure zero production downtime.

• Data Migration & Integration: Lead testing for the a new Transformation Project, verifying complex data flows between legacy systems and Oracle Fusion.

• Automation & Tooling: Establish and maintain a fit-for-purpose automated regression suite to reduce manual effort and accelerate cycles.

• Governance: Manage the defect lifecycle in Jira and ensure 100% traceability in qTest via a Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).

• Stakeholder Leadership: Act as the primary testing voice in release planning and manage the relationship with external implementation consultants.

Your Profile

We are looking for a leader who combines technical Oracle expertise with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Required Experience:

• 8–12 years in QA/Testing, with at least 3+ years in a Lead or Managerial role.

• Oracle Fusion Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with HCM (Core HR, Payroll, Absence) and/or Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA).

• Complex Cycles: Experience managing multi-country Payroll Parallel Runs and Finance UAT.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with PL/SQL, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and security/role-based access control (RBAC).

• Tools: Expert knowledge of Jira, qTest, or ALM.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle Fusion Functional Certifications (HCM/Finance).

• ISTQB or CSTE certification.

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and cloud migration from legacy systems (e.g., PeopleSoft).

• Exposure to automation frameworks for ERP.
