ICT Security Operation Engineer

As an ICT Security Operation Engineer, you are responsible for managing our customers’ Managed Security Services in the cloud and on the network.
Our services include Managed Firewall, Managed Dedicated or Shared Proxy, Web Security, Email Security, Load Balancing, Web Application Firewall, and Layer 2 Encryption. We handle these services in skill-based teams, each specializing in specific topics. This ensures our services run securely and SOC operations remain stable.

• Identify cyber threats and vulnerabilities and investigate their root causes

• Operate managed security devices for our customers

• Handle customer requests related to managed security services

• Manage an exciting service portfolio

• Change management (planning and implementation)

• Workplace in Zurich, Bern, or Geneva

Your skills

• Practical experience in a SOC or IT operations environment

• Knowledge of firewalls, proxies, cloud security, VPN (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Bluecoat, F5, Zscaler

• Degree in computer science (university of applied sciences, higher technical college, or federal diploma

• Know-how in routing and switching

• Experience with agile working methods such as DevOps or Scrum

• Clean criminal record and residence in Switzerland

• Good command of German and English, French is an advantage

• Team- and customer-oriented, resilient, and reliable personality

• Willingness to occasionally participate in on-call duty
