Engineering manager - FinTech

Salary: CHF 150’000 - 180’000 per year

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• •
• 3+ years working on full-stack, multi-channel digital products
• •
• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams (up to ~10 engineers)
• •
• Strong understanding of scalable microservices architectures (Kubernetes-based environments)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a cross-functional engineering squad, fostering ownership and delivery excellence
• •
• Define and execute the team’s technical vision in alignment with business objectives
• •
• Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable system architecture
• •
• Drive full lifecycle delivery: design, implementation, deployment, and operational support
• •
• Collaborate closely with product and leadership teams on scope, prioritization, and capacity planning
• •
• Promote strong engineering standards including code reviews, shared design discussions, and best practices
• •
• Provide clarity around trade-offs, risks, and technical decisions
