About this role

Salary: CHF 110’000 - 150’000 per year

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field.
8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering or similar roles.
Proven track record in delivering successful transformation and innovation projects in large scale organizations.
Excellent command of Financial Services' specific regulatory challenges.
Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices, including data lakes, data warehouses, event-driven architecture, microservices, and data mesh.
Proficiency in ETL / ELT processes and data lifecycle management.
Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security.
Awareness of market trends and established contacts with vendors offering various hosting strategies (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to engage with C-level, IT, and Business stakeholders to influence decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture framework to support business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Define a scalable, efficient, and modern data architecture in collaboration with engineers and business teams.
Establish data architecture policies, standards, and best practices in assigned data domains.
Advise on data modeling, integration models, and data architecture best practices.
Support data owners and data custodians throughout the data lifecycle, ensuring data traceability and compliance.
Contribute to data architecture and governance bodies, supporting data architecture initiatives.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to provide recommendations.
