Junior Robotics and Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Salary 90’000 - 110’000 CHF per year
Requirements:- A creative and analytic mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team
Passionate about object-oriented programming and enthusiastic about modern C++, or willing to learn fast
Comfortable working hands-on with testing and validation on hardware
Advanced robotics kledge and experience ideally exceeding a university degree: in particular with robot manipulators and their motion planning and control. This may be through university work (PhD) or industry experience
Particularly at ease working with mathematical algorithms
Kledge of: control, state estimation, Matlab/Python, signal processing, real-time operating systems, ROS, concurrent computing
Responsibilities:- You will be part of a centralized core technology team focusing on preparing new ways of motion control and high-precision robotics
To work in multi-disciplinary innovation project teams to demonstrate mechatronic motion systems that redefine the limits of speed and accuracy
Participation from strategies over concepts to successful transfer to productizations of motion-control frameworks for high-precision robots on embedded real-time targets
Conception, design and implementation of robotics algorithms for motion control
Testing and refinement both in simulation and on the target machines, ranging from metrology equipment to hydraulic machinery
In the future, task and path planning and autonomy for mobile precision robotics
