Job Purpose:Our Financial Analysts helps our company and teams make the most of their finances. We are looking for highly motivated, analytical, logical thinkers with a passion for solving complex corporate finance issues, and who have strong attention to detail. You will own key financial processes be the principal support to the Finance Business Partner of the Aarau Manufacturing Site. You will also assess which investments could bring the optimal return for their worth.  

Main Tasks:

  • Managing accounting entries and responsibility for executing financial close processes including quarterly reporting of results to Corporate
  • Responsible for the annual ERP Standard Cost Calculation
  • Analyze and validate all financial and non-financial data in close collaboration with the Site Controller
  • Act as liaison with the Finance Shared Service Center and Logistics to facilitate the support of the Finance Reporting hierarchies
  • Identify and resolve validation errors caused by data quality issues related to master data issues
  • Ownership of Site internal controls
  • Perform additional or ad-hoc analysis as per request for fact-based decision making
  • Proactively implement improvements for the accuracy and quality of our financial data
  • Monitoring & Tracking of Capital projects 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Higher Professional Education degree or University degree in IT/ Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial/manufacturing/operational environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in SAP (FI/CO)
  • HFM/TM1 experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel & VBA would be a plus
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with all levels of leadership and areas of a business
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Proficiency in English and German (s&w)
