About this role
The mission is to ensure efficient product delivery that meets global market demands and guarantees product availability for patients, while driving strategic supply process optimizations balancing service, cost, cash, and sustainability to ensure long-term supply stability. Mentoring and training team members are key, along with overseeing lifecycle management activities, as well as contributing to maintaining and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
- Develop and execute supply plans that align with business objectives, market demand, local requirements and internal & external manufacturing sites requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and manage end-to-end stock replenishment processes to maintain optimal supply in close cooperation with demand planning, while ensuring compliance with local and global requirements
- Be the main interface between local and global functions and collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams, to drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency gains and risk mitigation and make recommendations for supply chain improvements
- Lead the preparation and presentation of comprehensive reports for management review and financial cycles, emphasizing key performance indicators and strategic insights to drive data driven and effective decision-making
- Support the development and implementation of strategies for product line extensions and new product launches, ensuring timely and efficient execution
- Mentor and guide Global Supply Planners, promoting a culture of collaboration, best practice sharing, continuous improvement and operational excellence
Requirements
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Strong expertise in supply chain management software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including mentoring abilities
- Exceptional team player and good negotiation skills
- APICS or comparable certification preferred
- Willingness to leveraging digital tools and data analytics, including artificial intelligence applications
- Accomplished Supply Planner Certification
