About this role
We are seeking a skilled Automation Expert 100% for the Lonza AG in Visp.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Perform off-line and on-line coding, testing, and peer reviewing of automation solutions.
Change Management: Own the design and execution of Automation Change Records (ACRs) and qualification/commissioning documentation.
Leadership & Support: Serve as the Automation Lead for unit operations on complex projects and provide expert troubleshooting for system malfunctions.
Strategy: Contribute to the development of site-wide automation policies and new approaches to improve quality and efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Automation, Chemical, or equivalent) or extensive, relevant professional experience.
Proven experience in industrial automation within a regulated environment (ideally Pharma/Biotech).
Strong proficiency in PLC/DCS programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Emerson, DeltaV) and experience with GxP environment and validation processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical workstreams on complex projects (e.g., tech transfers, capital projects).
English business fluent (written and spoken) is required
