Then this role is for you!In this interesting role as an IT Business Support you are working for a Pharma/ Medical device company that offers solutions to human health care, with a global presence. Tasks & Responsibilities

  •  Provide on-site assistance for IT systems used with Lab Instruments
  • Troubleshoot and exclude obvious reasons, help with precise ticket routing and   description
  •  Monitor tickets and work with IT to prioritize
  •  Escalate on behalf of the business
  •  Collect requirements for smaller enhancements that are not a project
  •  Speak with the business to understand their needs
  •  Translate into IT language and actions
  •  Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users
  • Ensure that tickets are followed in the IT process and resolved in a professional manner
  •  Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time
  • Monitor the resolution progress and step in if required
  • Ensure that documentation is delivered
  • Collect information from the customers to be able to purchase additional equipment or licenses
  •  Track and inventories 

Must Haves: 

  •  Min. Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering, computer sciences or similar technical degree required. Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted 
  •  Min. 3-5 year’ experience with the Software of Laboratory Equipment as IT Troubleshooter and Supporter (Technical Support Experience) 
  •  Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows, software, network, configuration, and hardening options 
  • Strong experience in implementation, installation, troubleshooting (and read logs) and configuration of software and IT solutions such as Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012 or similar 
  •  Advanced kledge of database maintenance and system security 
  •  In-depth kledge of computer hardware, software, and Information Security and Data 
  • Fluency in German and English language is an absolute MUST
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate with different stakeholders
  •  Open, friendly, service-oriented

Nice to Haves

  •  Experience with Laboratory System interfaces is preferred
  • Work experience in IT for Pharma/Biotech industries will be a plus
  • Kledge of the specialties around scientific software and pharma lab equipment are an advantage
  • Kledge and experience of platforms and tools e.g. Service is a plus
  • Kledge of best practices around management, control and monitoring of server infrastructure
  • ITIL kledge and IT processes (incident, change management), with ITIL Certificate
