Senior R&D Engineer/ Embedded Software for Medium Voltage Drives (m/w/d)

Responsibilities:

•  Design embedded real-time software running on the processor using C++
•  Contribute to the software development strategy in your area
•  Involved in the whole software development life cycle: Requirements engineering, design, implementation, tests, and maintenance
•  Contribute to software testing and testing infrastructure to ensure defined quality standards are met
•  Provide professional technical support for external and internal customers (Level 4, Commissioning)
•  Contribute to planning and refining work packages during software development

Profile:

• Solid qualification in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer and/or Software Engineering, Automation, or a related field
• Minimum three years of relevant industry experience
• Excellent C++ programming skills
• od kledge of power converters, motor drives and control theory
• Experience in embedded application design and implementation as a plus
• Experience with version control systems (Git or similar) and agile development methods is an advantage
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills together with drive, commitment, and team spirit
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
