Speaking to SRF, Kilian said that making the videos is no easy feat: "driving with a three-meter-long pole at 80 kilometers per hour, over waves or in a snow plough, that's not easy." He added that skiing so close to his brother “takes a lot of strength and a lot of trust.” Luckily, he added that "he has a very good technique. Almost better than mine!"

Viral skiing videos are also great for business

Some of the most popular videos now have hundreds of thousands of views. However, they aren’t just to show off their technique, they are also a marketing tool, with Weibel adding many customers “see these videos and want to come back to my lessons afterwards."

Speaking to SRF, Justin Fogarty, an entrepreneur who lives in Zug, who is also one of Weibel's students, said that if you want individual ski coaching from the best, Weibel is your man. “Kilian is an incredible guy. He always motivates me to go skiing,” he concluded.
