Spotify Wrapped: What were people in Switzerland's top tracks of 2024?

Whether it bumping to your favourite tunes while driving or dancing like no one’s watching at home, music flowed through life in Switzerland in 2024. Now, the latest Spotify Wrapped has revealed which songs and artists were top of playlists this year.
Taylor Swift continues to dominate Swiss charts
Continuing her worldwide domination, Taylor Swift secured her spot as the most-listened-to artist in Switzerland, equalling her chart-topping performance from 2023. With the former country star having recently concluded her Eras Tour - the highest-grossing tour of all time and the first to make a profit of over a billion US dollars, which also made a stop in Zurich - being top of the Swiss and global artist list for 2024 will be a suitable cherry on top.
US singer and rapper Travis Scott took second place across the cantons, followed by The Weeknd in third. In all, here are the 10 most listened-to artists in Switzerland for 2024:

- Billie Eilish
- Eminem
- Drake
- Luciano
- Kanye West
- Rihanna
Sadly, much like last year, no Swiss artists or songs managed to feature in the higher echelons in 2024.
Breakout star Benson Boone has the most popular song in Switzerland
Despite Taylor Swift taking the top spot for artist, her most streamed song in Switzerland, Cruel Summer, did not feature in the top 30 tracks. For 2024, the most streamed song in the alpine nation was the stunning mega hit Beautiful Things by growing star Benson Boone.
The 22-year-old artist from Washington State created Beautiful Things by combining two of his other songs, creating a hit that has gone twice platinum in Switzerland and five times platinum in the United States. Boone’s debut solo album, Fireworks & Rollerblades, was also the most streamed album of the year.
Gata Only by Chilean reggaeton musician FloyyMenor with a feature from Cris Mij took second place - the first Chilean song to be streamed over a billion times - followed by Lose Control by Teddy Swims.
