Position Summary
As a Procurement Strategy and Transformation Project Lead, you will be part of an international team, acting on Global strategic projects for the Procurement function. In this high-impact role, you’ll define the direction, objectives, and relevant success metrics, ensuring a seamless roadmap from strategy to implementation. With your expertise and influence, you will unlock business value, create competitive advantage, and lead transformation on a global scale.

A day in a life of a Procurement Strategy and Transformation Project Lead
- Lead strategic projects for all spend categories (Direct materials, Services and Indirect materials), across all geographical zones and with all Nestlé Business Units.
- Manage a team of 1-4 direct reports and partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, set priorities, and deliver projects on time.
- Shape global procurement strategies alongside category leaders.
- Generate insights that drive cost efficiency, secure supply and meet sustainability goals.
- Challenge assumptions through benchmarking and propose innovative sourcing solutions.
- Support rollout of new processes and tools and evaluate their impact.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate confidently to senior management.
- Collaborate with procurement teams across Malaysia, Panama, and Switzerland to ensure global alignment.
What makes you successful:
- Solid experience in procurement (category management), supply Chain, consulting, business analytics.
- Excellent project management skills
- Proven experience operating across multiple countries and regions in leadership roles, including managing virtual teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders across multiple geographies and business units.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex models and envision future digital solutions.
- Curiosity and a passion for ongoing learning and growth throughout your career
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
