For one of our clients, a global pioneer in pharmaceuticals, we are currently looking for a Verification Engineer in the Lab Support and Compliance Section.

About the job:

We are looking for a Verification Engineer in the Lab Support and Compliance 2 section. The section supports laboratories as well as numerous internal and external partners involved in the development of large molecules, handling activities related to the calibration, maintenance, qualification, and repair of laboratory equipment and systems, including monitoring infrastructure (cold rooms, etc.).

The ideal candidate

Brings experience in the calibration, maintenance, qualification, and repair of laboratory equipment and systems.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Management of test equipment and device calibrations: planning, organization, verification, evaluation, documentation, and archiving of calibrations
  • Lifecycle management for test equipment, devices, and systems
  • Qualification of laboratory equipment
  • Management of all required Veeva documents
  • Support of the monitoring system for online room monitoring (GMP laboratories)
  • GMP Compliance (process and documentation management)
  • MyBuy orders for service requests
  • Equipment owner/caretaker for environmental chambers / refrigerators
  • Deviation management: processing deviations and changes as an Owner and/or SME

Must Haves:

  • Education as a Lab Technician, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in a technical or chemical field
  • Min. 5 years of professional experience in qualification and calibration of laboratory equipment in a regulated environment
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, strong understanding of GMP
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Digital skills, affinity for databases, affinity for technology
  • Accurate and structured way of working with high attention to detail
  • IT knowledge: Standard software; databases for equipment maintenance are an advantage (SAP)
  • Flexibility, ability to set priorities, and deliver reliably under pressure
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and open to learning new things
  • Good organizational skills
