ZScaler Security Operations Engineer

As an ICT Security Operation Engineer for Zscaler, you are primarily responsible for the implementation and management of our Zscaler-based security services for clients. You ensure that our cloud security solutions, such as Zscaler Web Security, Zscaler Private Access, and other security services, are operated effectively and securely. These tasks are handled in skill groups specializing in specific topics, ensuring our services run securely and SOC operations remain stable.

• Work with Zscaler technologies to identify and analyze cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Operate and manage Zscaler solutions for our clients.
• Handle customer inquiries related to Zscaler Security Services.
• Support an innovative service portfolio based on Zscaler cloud security.
• Plan and execute change management processes.
• Workplace located in Zurich, Bern, or Geneva.

Your Skills

• Practical experience in a SOC or IT operations environment.
• Mandatory: In-depth knowledge and experience with Zscaler technologies (ZIA, ZPA).
• Degree (FH/HF/EFZ) in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Know-how in firewalling as well as routing/switching.
• Experience with agile working methods such as DevOps or Scrum.
• Impeccable record and residence in Switzerland.
• Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage.
• Team-oriented, customer-oriented, resilient, and reliable personality.
• Willingness to occasionally provide on-call support.
