Technical Project Manager

Salary: CHF 90’000 - 120’000 per year

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in core Voice Network
• 3+ years of experience leading small or medium-sized projects in the Telco domain
• Strong expertise in Circuit-Switched (CS) and IMS
• Hands-on experience working on live networks
• Capability in defining core network architectures and evolution
• Understanding of cloud environments and challenges
• Experience with Nokia core network equipment is a plus
• Continuous learner mindset: curious, self-driven, resourceful
• Ability to define a long-term vision and strategy
• Grounded technology intuition
• Decisive yet thoughtful approach to problem-solving
• Excellent analytical and abstract thinking skills
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and vendors
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for senior management and non-technical audiences
• Approachable, friendly, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
• Fluency in English (C1), additional languages are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Lead small to medium-sized projects within the Core Network
• Engage in architectural discussions with core network vendors
• Define required evolutions in Salts core internal technical forums
• Resolve complex issues and shape future vendor technical proposals
• Finalize vendor scopes of work, ensuring readiness for commercial discussions
• Steer the 3-year Core Network Software & Hardware roadmap
• Prepare clear and impactful presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners
• Collaborate with domain experts across the core network to build a shared vision and internal consensus
• Take full responsibility for technical decisions in selected projects
• Lead initiatives to deliver architectures and processes effectively
