About this role

Salary: CHF 110’000 - 135’000 per year

Requirements:

Master’s in Computer Science or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
8+ years of experience in application development with experience on large scale solutions
Proficient in backend/API development with Java Spring Boot, Node.js, TypeScript
Proficient in data manipulation and storage (relational databases, NoSQL databases, streaming)
Experience in building optimized data pipelines, ideally using big data technologies such as Spark
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Amazon Web Services
Experience with web development and React framework

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering teams, product stakeholders, machine learning engineers, and engineering leadership to understand business requirements and long-term vision, shape exciting new product features, and help with work prioritization
Use advanced technical expertise and architectural skills to design complex solutions which are scalable, fast, and robust
Support and improve our existing applications, APIs, and data pipelines
Keep building expertise in new areas, share the experience with the team, and establish best practices
Raise the bar and increase the performance within the team
