Senior Full Stack Engineer

Salary: CHF 80’000 - 120’000 per year

Requirements:

• The Role: Senior Full Stack Engineer
• This is a build-it-and-ship-it role for someone who loves solving real problems with real code. You'll be deep in our stack from day one—building features that users actually want, squashing bugs that matter, and helping us migrate from 'startup prototype' to 'scale-up ready platform' without losing our velocity. You'll work directly with our Principal Engineer and founding team, contributing to both frontend experiences and backend systems that need to handle real AI workloads. And yes, you need to be in Zurich. We're building this together, in person, some days per week.
• What We're Looking For
• 5-8 years of full-stack engineering experience with battle scars from shipping real products
• Modern web stack fluency: You're comfortable with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, and can pick up new tools fast
• AI/LLM integration experience: You've built features with OpenAI APIs, handled embeddings, or worked with voice processing—bonus points if you've debugged why GPT-4 suddenly started giving weird responses
• Microservices mindset: You understand service boundaries, API design, event-driven architectures, and why everything shouldn't be in one giant database
• Startup survival skills: You've worked in fast-moving environments where priorities shift, requirements evolve, and 'MVP' actually means something
• Zurich-based: We believe the best work happens when smart people can actually talk to each other
• Quality-focused: You write tests, handle errors gracefully, and think about edge cases before they become production incidents

Responsibilities:

• What You'll Actually Do
• Ship full-stack features across our evolving tech stack: TypeScript/Node.js backends, Vue → Next.js frontend migration, Python AI services, and everything in between
• Build AI-powered experiences that don't suck—chat interfaces, voice processing, insight generation
• Own end-to-end features from database design to user interactions, because nothing beats understanding the whole flow
• Navigate our platform migration from monolith to microservices while keeping everything running
• Write code that scales with proper error handling, monitoring, and tests - because 'it works on my machine' doesn't cut it with enterprise clients
• Collaborate intensely with founders, designers, and other engineers to ship features that solve actual user problems
