About this role

Are you a passionate Scrum Master with a knack for fostering high-performing teams? Do you thrive on seeing projects through to successful delivery, and have a solid understanding of agile principles? We're looking for a dedicated Scrum Master to join our nearshore teams to work on a project for Switzerland.

In this role, you will be a key part of our team, guiding a cross-functional group of engineers and data professionals. You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and help the team continuously improve its processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, primarily focused on the delivery of data pipelines.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coach a development team in applying Scrum principles and practices.

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder the team's progress.

  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is well-defined and prioritized.

  • Help the team maintain focus and a sustainable pace.

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master. You have a track record of successfully guiding teams in an agile environment.

  • Experience with the delivery of data pipelines. You have worked on projects involving the movement and transformation of data.

  • Strong understanding of data technologies. Familiarity with Apache Airflow for orchestrating workflows and Snowflake for data warehousing is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You can effectively coach team members and communicate with stakeholders.

  • Problem-solving mindset. You are proactive and skilled at identifying and resolving issues.

  • Bonus points if you have experience with full-stack development or have worked in a similar technical role. A solid understanding of the development lifecycle is a plus.

Why Join Us?

  • Work on impactful projects with a leading client, Randstad Digital Switzerland.

  • Be part of a supportive and dynamic nearshore team.

Visits to Switzerland are expected so we are only able to accept applications from candidates based in the EU with the ability to travel to Switzerland.
