About this role

Operation Architect

You design operational models based on the requirements of our major clients, utilizing the Swisscom Best-Practice Framework for Service Management. You are involved during the offer phase when requirements in Service Operations Management exceed Swisscom standards. As part of the bid process, you are responsible for the development, design, and implementation of the overall operational solution with complex requirements. You occasionally implement the solutions you developed in the Service Management sub-project. You confidently present your concepts and operational performances to clients and internally at the management level. You serve as the liaison between sales, Solution Architects (Technical Responsibility), and the Operations and Service Management organizations.

  • You represent Service Management as well as Operations during the offer phase.
  • A comprehensive and fascinating area of responsibility with significant freedom for initiative and high autonomy.
  • The continuous optimization of operational models is based on personally gathered experiences from implementation projects.
  • Regular interaction with customers, Operational Units, Solution Architects, Process Owners, and other Operation Architects ensures a varied and engaging workday.
  • Work proficiency in German, English, and French

Your Skills:

  • Degree (University/Applied Sciences) in Business Administration and/or Business Informatics.
  • Several years of professional experience in ITIL process knowledge and understanding business-related contexts.
  • Extensive know-how in ICT solutions, product portfolio, and associated processes.
  • Experience in executing highly complex projects involving processes, tools, organization, and service levels for major clients.
  • Strong skills in process analysis, design, and engineering. Goal-oriented and customer-focused, with an entrepreneurial approach and behavior.
  • Flexible, reliable, and autonomous working style, along with strong communication skills at all management levels.
