Your Role:

As a SAP MDM Specialist, you will play a crucial role in review current MDM practices and producing Business Requirement Documentation as part of a major ERP review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review current MDM processes and identify areas for improvement within the current SAP environment.

  • Produce BRD outlining  data quality standards,  data cleansing processes, and the master data lifecycle.

  • Review the as-is situation to design and enforce policies for data accuracy and consistency.

  • Work with ERP systems (preferably SAP ECC) to structure and identify master data needs and processes across different modules.

  • Utilize MDM tools or platforms (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere, Talend) for enterprise data.

  • Work with the business to understand their defined master data models and attributes, design hierarchies and taxonomies, and the desired next steps within their data frameworks.

  • Apply data integration techniques (APIs, ETL) to link MDM systems with ERP and other applications.

  • Implement data validation rules, conduct data quality audits, and monitor master data health.

Your Profile:

  • Extensive experience (8-10+ years) in Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance roles within an SAP environment.

  • Proven experience in large, data-intensive enterprises or regulated industries is preferred.

  • Experience working on global projects or in multi-national companies with complex master data (e.g., manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or financial services) is ideal.

  • Deep knowledge of MDM principles and data governance frameworks.

  • Expertise in SAP systems (preference for SAP ECC).

  • Hands-on experience with MDM tools or platforms (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere, or Talend).

  • Strong data modeling and database skills.

  • Familiarity with data integration techniques (APIs, ETL).

  • Knowledge of data quality management techniques and tools.

  • SAP Certifications (SAP Certified Application Associate and/or SAP Master Data Governance) are a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills in English; other languages are an advantage.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under deadlines in cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align MDM initiatives with business strategy.

We Offer:

  • The opportunity to work with a leading company in digital solutions.

  • A challenging role with the chance to make a significant impact.

  • A flexible work environment with the possibility of working from home and frequent visits to Geneva.

  • A collaborative and supportive team.

  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.

Interested?

The first 3 months of this project will require you to be on-site, with a more flexible, hybrid working model to follow. You must, therefore, be eligible to work in Switzerland.
