Hardware Engineer

Salary: CHF 80’000 - 100’000 per year

Requirements:

• • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• • At least 3 years of professional experience
• • Proficiency in eCAD tools, preferably Altium
• • Familiarity with design control processes within highly regulated fields, ideally the medical sector
• • Experience with product lifecycle and change management
• • Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing, assembly processes and test methodologies
• • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines
• • Team oriented mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• • Provide product care and hardware improvements for existing products through continuous refinement and the introduction of innovative technology solutions
• • Coordinate and manage suppliers of third-party electronics manufacturers, ensuring product quality and compliance
• • Lead obsolescence management activities with external electronics partners to maintain production continuity
• • Take ownership of electronics designs including schematics, PCB layout creation, and associated data management
• • Ensure documentation accuracy and maintain compliance with internal and regulatory quality systems
