About this role

Salary: CHF 110’000 - 150’000 per year

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, business management or a related field. A Master’s degree will be appreciated.
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Excellent command of data collection and data analysis methodologies.
  • Excellent command of ELT/ETL and Data Warehouse management processes and best practices.
  • Excellent command of ELT/ETL tools. Experience with Microsoft SSIS and/or Semarchy xDI will be highly appreciated.
  • Good command of programming languages such as SQL, Python, R.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GIT.
  • Good knowledge of JSON and XML formats.
  • Good project management and business analysis fundamental knowledge will be highly appreciated (using JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, M365…).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present data-driven information.
  • Attention to detail to ensure the integrity of the analysis.
  • Critical thinking to analyze, challenge and translate business requirements.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams or on significant transformation projects.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with IT and business teams.
  • Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating communication between Data Integration teams, Development teams, and Business stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of project data objectives and requirements.
  • Contributing to functional specifications, including data models and data flow diagrams.
  • Identifying data from primary and secondary sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Organizing the collection and validation of data integration requirements and needs.
  • Contributing to the management of ETL processes for integrating data into the data warehouse, ensuring efficient transformation and loading of data.
  • Working with technical teams to define and implement robust and scalable data integration solutions.
  • Identifying potential risks associated with changes and capacity constraints, and working with project managers to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensuring the quality and integrity of project requirements and deliverables.
  • Identifying process improvement and efficiency opportunities within data integration activities.
  • Developing regular reports and dashboards to present progress in an understandable and usable way.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of data integration initiatives and projects.
  • Knowing and understanding the basics of banking and supporting the Data Integration team on this aspect.
  • Participating in the support and monitoring of anomalies.
