About this role
Salary: CHF 110’000 - 150’000 per year
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering or similar roles.
- Experience delivering successful transformation and innovation projects in large scale organizations.
- Excellent command of Financial Services' specific regulatory challenges.
- Proficient in data architecture, data lakes, data warehouses principles and best practices (event-driven, microservices, data mesh).
- Strong understanding of ETL / ELT processes and data lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security.
- Awareness of market trends, with established contacts with vendors and third parties offering various hosting strategies (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to engage with C-level, IT, and Business stakeholders and effectively convince decision makers.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture framework to support business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Define a scalable, efficient, and modern data architecture in collaboration with engineers and business teams.
- Establish data architecture policies, standards, and best practices in assigned data domains.
- Advise on data modeling, integration models, and data architecture best practices.
- Support data owners and data custodians throughout the data lifecycle, ensuring data traceability and compliance.
- Contribute to data architecture and governance bodies, supporting data architecture initiatives.
