Senior Reporting and Consolidation Manager

Randstad Digital Switzerland is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Reporting and Consolidation Manager for an urgent, new position with our client in Zurich. This is a critical role that will initially be a 3-month contract, with the strong possibility of becoming a permanent position upon successful completion of the trial period. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for Consolidation in SAP S/4HANA & Quarterly IFRS Reporting 

• Reviewing monthly reporting packages in liaison with the Accounting Shared-Service Center 

• Preparing statutory financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (SCO) and reconciliation from IFRS to local GAAP 

• Managing and supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting initiatives 

• Driving process changes and improvements throughout the accounting and reporting function 

• Acting as Finance SPOC for various projects and implementations (e.g., Software Replacement, Set-Up of new legal entity, new product offerings, change requests) 

• Cooperating and managing external and internal auditors 

Skills Required:

• Completed university or technical college studies with a focus on accounting or similar (finance, economics) 

• Swiss CPA 

• 5+ years' experience in financial group accounting of a national/international group, in auditing, or in a similar position 

• Profound knowledge in IFRS and/or US-GAAP reporting standards 

• Profound knowledge of SAP / SAP S/4HANA / SAP Group Reporting 

• Proactive & solution-oriented mindset 

• Structured & accurate way of working 

• Fluent in written and spoken English & German
