For our client, an international leader in the energy technology sector, we are looking for a strategic and people-oriented Teamleader Planning. Based at their production site in Zurich-Altstetten, you will lead the local Planning & Purchasing team to ensure the highest standards of production efficiency and supply chain excellence within the high-voltage component industry.

Your Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Production Planning and Operational Purchasing teams, fostering a culture of high performance and professional growth.
Master Scheduling: Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in coordination with Production Planners, ensuring rigorous analysis of production capacity and resource allocation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and fulfillment teams to synchronize scheduling data and establish accurate delivery dates for global customers.
System Management: Oversee MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems, ensuring exception messages are managed effectively to maintain inventory health and data accuracy.
Forecasting & KPIs: Incorporate demand forecasts into long-term scheduling; establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor master plan adherence and operational success.
Process Optimization: Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement strategic process improvements within the planning and purchasing workflows.
Sales & Operations Planning: Actively contribute to the S&OP process to align supply chain capabilities with broader business objectives.
- Compliance & Governance: As a People Manager, ensure team compliance with all internal procedures, safety regulations, and external legal guidelines.
Your Qualifications
Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Planning & Fulfillment, Supply Chain, or Operations Management, with a proven track record in a leadership position.
Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess complex production capacities and inventory levels; proficiency in modern ERP/MRP systems.
Leadership Style: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with local teams and international stakeholders.
Mindset: Self-driven and proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
Languages: Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
