Order Handling / Fulfillment Specialist (m/f/d)

For our client, an international company based in Zurich, we are looking for a dedicated Order Handling / Fulfillment Specialist.
As an Order Handling / Fulfillment Specialist in our dynamic team, you will be a key player in ensuring a smooth and efficient order-to-delivery process for our customers. You will manage the order lifecycle, act as the central point of contact, and coordinate closely with various internal teams to meet confirmed delivery dates.
General Information:
Location: Zurich
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Working Hours: 100% (regular Mon-Fri - office hours)
- Work Schedule/Remote: Onsite for the first 2-3 months, then possibility of 1 day/week of remote work.
Your Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient and accurate input of customer orders into the order management system
Prepare and send timely order confirmations and commercial contracts to customers
Proactively track the status of each customer order, coordinating and pushing internal stakeholders to guarantee the confirmed delivery date
Inform the customer promptly in case of any deviations to the current plan
Coordinate with our export team to ensure deliveries are organized in accordance with the confirmed delivery date
Follow up on payment status with customers to limit overdue accounts
Organize and supervise factory acceptance tests (FATs), performed with the participation of the client
Collaborate closely with other teams/departments to solve any additional requirements from the customer and to improve current internal processes
- Prepare/analyze current performances and provide results to management
Your Qualifications:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience is ideal for this role
Proven fulfillment experience in any background (industrial or not)
Solid Experience with MS Package is highly preferable
Experience with SAP is highly preferable
Experience in Power BI is a plus
Languages: Fluent in both English and German
Demonstrated ability to be a team player yet possesses the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
