VISUAL MERCHANDISER
About this role
As a Visual Merchandiser at Zara Home Zürich, you ensure an inspiring and cohesive visual presentation while optimizing the customer journey and directly contributing to the store’s commercial performance.
Visual Merchandising
Set up collections according to brand guidelines and adapt visual presentations to the store layout and local customer behaviour.
Create attractive and coherent atmospheres across all product areas (bedroom, bathroom, dining, accessories, etc.).
Maintain dynamic product rotation and ensure visual harmony through consistent use of textures, colours and volumes.
Commercial Focus & Analysis
Analyse sales results, best-sellers and slow-moving items to adjust the layout accordingly.
Implement targeted action plans: product repositioning, zone optimization and customer-flow improvements.
Operations
Work closely with store management and support layout changes and new collection launches.
Train and guide the sales team on visual standards and product presentation.
Ensure order, cleanliness, proper management of VM materials and adherence to deadlines (replenishment, seasonal changes, campaigns).
Profile
Proven experience in visual merchandising within retail (home décor, furniture, lifestyle or fashion).
Strong aesthetic sense, creativity and passion for interior design.
Excellent organisational skills, reactivity and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Very good German skills; English is an advantage.
Strong team spirit and confidence in supporting and guiding colleagues.
Flexibility (early replenishment, collection changes, peak periods).
