University of Fribourg

Founded after the disbanding of a former Jesuit college, the University of Fribourg sits at the heart of the old city. Home to 10.000 students, it is the only university in Switzerland that teaches in both German and French, with some English courses on offer as well. It has five faculties, including humanities, law, theology, science and social science.
