Rothschild & Co is building a strong IT Service Management team to support the business in its ambitious strategic objectives.The successful candidate will have a varied and hands-on role in our IT Service Delivery Team – this covers a wide range of topics such as 1st level onsite support to our clients, collaboration with the external Service Provider, management of hardware, staging of devices and many others.As part of a small team, it is important that the candidate is service oriented, thinks flexibly, takes ownership, communicates well and is an excellent team player.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role requires a candidate who is structured, customer-focused, works independently and has the ability of solving problems.

  • Respond to client requests for technical assistance via phone, ticketing tool, email and in-person
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide first-line support
  • Resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with other team members and service provider to resolve complex technical problems
  • Support the joiner and leaver process by moving hardware and peripherals
  • Support the hardware management

Education and Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship, study or similar education

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • IT supporter background and Service Delivery mentality with real attention to quality and excellence in all areas
  • Flexible individual who can work on different topics and is willing to learn
  • od technical understanding of Windows, Office, Citrix VDI workplace
  • od written and spoken communication skills in English and ideally German
  • Strong team player with an ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence amongst peers and colleagues
