ResponsibilitiesTax Reclaim Service

  • Monitoring of tax reclaim requests with the outsourcing provider
  • Responsible for preparing and transmitting the data to the outsourcing provider
  • Crediting of tax reclaim amount and debiting of fees on the client accounts in Avaloq
  • 1st level support for inquiries regarding tax reclaim for client advisers
  • Quality checks on the entire process chain

Regulatory Reporting

  • Monitoring & handling of FinfraG, MiFIR and EMIR Trade Reporting
  • Contact person for institutional client's request
  • Recognizing and solving issues

Operational Taxes

  • Maintenance of the Swiss Stamp Tax journal for Ex-Custody clients
  • Invoicing, monitoring and booking of the stamp tax amount in Avaloq for Ex-Custody clients
  • Updating of withholding tax rates & double taxation treaty data in Avaloq
  • Supporting function in further tax topics such as:
    - Client Tax Reporting for different countries
    - U.S. Qualified Intermediary Reporting
    - U.S. FATCA Reporting
    - Automatic Exchange of Information Reporting
  • Contact person for internal and external inquiries
  • Back-up function of the Tax Reporting specialists

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Several years of banking experience required
  • od understanding of operational tax processes
  • Fluent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)
  • Flexible working style but also used to dealing with manual/repetitive tasks
  • Reliable, high quality standards and attention to detail
  • Independent, structured, solution-oriented and proactive work style
  • Avaloq k-how advantageous
