Job Description

The quality manager is responsible for developing and continuously improving the management system together with the responsible functions in our global organization and manages our journey towards accreditation as a product certification body (ISO 17065). Furthermore he/she takes care of our Business Continuity Management together with our mother company SGS.  As a matter of course this includes internal audits and trainings of the bluesign team.
  • Implement and maintain management system (ISO 9001, 17065)
  • Monitor the management system, report on performance, and identify need for improvement
  • Establish an internal audit program and perform internal audits
  • Manage the accreditation process
  • Maintain and improve business continuity management
  • Training and education of the bluesign team on management system and business continuity management topics

Qualifications

  • Education and experience in implementation and maintenance of management systems (ISO 9001) and process management, internal auditor
  • Experience with accreditation (ideally ISO 17067/17065)
  • Favorably with professional experience in product certification and/or environmental labelling
  • Education and experience with Business Continuity Management
  • Experience in project management
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Preferably good German skills
  • IT affinity
  • Professional experience in the service sector beneficial
  • Nice to have: od kledge in the fields of textile, environment, consumer safety and textile chemistry
  • Well-organized, independent coordinator, project manager and team player
  • Acts solution oriented and decisively
  • Consistent and precise attitude
  • Experience in and respect for working across different countries, cultures and languages
