The name Sécheron Hasler Group  is a worldwide synonym for Swiss Quality and represents a leading reference for state of the art products supplied to the market.With more than 1’200 employees worldwide, we are wherever our customers are around the globe, positioned to supply products approved in our customers’ countries or markets and deliver top-notch supply chain and customer services locally.We are currently looking for a          Business Unit Controller (100%)-- or Cost Controller with potential to move quickly to Business Controller role -- The main mission of the role of Business Unit (BU) Controller is to support the BU Management on all Financial Controlling aspects and contribute to the success of the group controlling function by ensuring a good coordination with the BU and also personally own some group tasks and improvement projects. As the BU controller you will act and need competencies as Industrial Controller, Project Controller, and Financial Planner.  The main tasks in this function are, for the concerned Business Unit, to:

  • Support the Management by providing insightful financial analysis to be used to take decisions and to ensure that potential risks and opportunities are anticipated and understood
  • Build and maintain a very close cooperation and coordination between the Business Unit Management, its different involved sites and the Sécheron Hasler group controlling
  • Analyze and challenge Procurement, Supply Chain and Factory performance based on key indicators and promote the culture of Return on Invested Capital
  • Review direct and indirect costs and drive cost control
  • Perform the Standard Costs management and variance analyses including on Hourly Rates
  • Monitor the project controlling (customer, R&D and internal projects), assisting and challenging the project managers
  • Produce monthly financial reporting, highlighting key trends and variances
  • Plan and lead financial planning: Strategic plan, Budget and Quarterly forecasts
  • Contribute to the Group controlling with the functional lead of some group improvement projects
  • Be an active participant in the maintenance and development of the financial tools and ERP

 As our ideal candidate, you bring the following: 

  • A university degree or equivalent (ideally HEC or HES)
  • A minimum of five years of experience as a financial controller in the industrial sector (ideally mid-size Swiss company)
  • Experience in Project controlling
  • od Kledge of Swiss GAAP FER
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Experienced in ERP (Oracle a plus) and expert in Excel
  • Ability to communicate well with different stakeholders
