Sales & Business Developer Rail Data Cloud Applications (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the acquisitions of potential data analytics application projects for mainly Railway operators. This includes new opportunities, identifications, introduction of our products and solutions to the customers, challenging technical advice to the customers, the selling of our products as well as commercial negotiations and the ongoing support of the good relations with new and long-term established customers as well. Projects you handle by coordination of technical concepts together with our internal teams, by enabling customer business cases with price calculations to finally establish tailor-made contracts and solution offers for the customers. You help to develop the strategical focus in the specific markets and thereafter also take the responsibility to fulfil the yearly sales budget for these markets. On top of that you act as a market specialist for all business cases between the customer and our company. The travelling frequency is approximately 40%. The main responsibilities associated with this important role are:
- Hunting for new opportunities and technical sales, i.e. acquisition and promotion of our RailData software applications for RailData analytics.
- Relationship management and further improve of the relationship between HaslerRail and its customers and its agencies all over the world
- Create a transparency for the region, regarding market development, customers and competitors
- Supporting the Director RailData regarding budget and strategy whenever needed and the project manager and its team during the overall length of the sold project
- You are responsible for the communication with the customers, the principal as well as with all internally involved counterparts in charge
- Acts as Key Account Manager and partly as project introduction manager supported by internal departments
Our ideal candidate (m/f/d)
- Holds an engineering degree (preferably software and/or electrical/electronic engineering or similar)
- Has profound experience in the sales front of technically challenging application software and preferably industrial goods
- Brings ideally an existing network in the railway operator areas at a global scale or at dedicated railway operator sector into the company
- Is an opportunity hunter and creates leads by enthusiasm, persistence and patience
- Is an excellent communicator in English and preferably German and/or Spanish (other foreign language kledge, is a benefit)
- Owns good kledge of the railway industry, especially and its norms and specialties
- Thinks marked oriented and has a sense of teamwork
- Obtains a balanced personality who likes to handle this big opportunity successfully and with enthusiasm
